Summer 2013 Dress-Up Theme Nights*

All Junior Weeks (including Home School Junior Week)

Island Luau Party - Come join Gilligan and the crew as we end our week with a party fit for a castaway!  Get out your sea bags and dust off your grass skirts, flower shirts, leis and straw hats for an island adventure with dorky tourists, pirates and sailors sure to cap off a great week of camp!

Home School Teen Week and Teen Week B

Christmas in June and July - Waiting till December to celebrate Christmas again is just way too long; so we’re doing it early! Calling all reindeer, snowmen, elves, Santa’s, carolers and tacky Christmas sweaters, we’re headed to the North Pole for a fun Texas night of Christmas in the summer!

Neon - We’re gonna light up camp this summer on Neon Night! Bring your brightest clothes, grab some glow sticks and don’t forget your shades, ‘cause it’s gonna be so bright in the Dining Hall, you’ll need ‘em!

Super Heroes - Avengers assemble! X-men unite! This summer Frontier Camp will be the safest place to be with every known hero from comics, movies and books showing up. Get ready for a super night of fun with your friends in which your cabin will need all the heroes it can get to win the games! Though if you plan on doing any real super hero work, don’t forget Ms. Edna’s advice: No capes!

Teen Week A and Teen Week C

Video Games - If a week at camp’s gonna give you withdrawals from missing all your favorite video game characters, fear not! Mario, Link and Mrs. Pac Man will all be here for a digitized night in the piney woods where campers and staff will battle it out to save the princess and win the day!

Duck Dynasty - Look deep inside yourself to find your inner redneck, grab your camo and join us for a backwoods kinda party! Inspired by the hit TV show, we’re gonna have a country-themed shin-dig even Uncle Si would have a ball at!

Mexican Fiesta - We’re heading south of the border for a Mexican-themed party with lots of yummy food and good friends. Don’t forget to pack your sombreros, flowers, ponchos, wraps, and maracas, for an unforgettable fiesta this summer!

*Note: All camper dress code regulations must be followed, even on theme nights. Theme nights are not mandatory, but they are a lot of fun, and we encourage all campers to try and participate in them. These themes were picked with ease of costume/outfit in mind and should not require expensive costumes. For most campers, between what they already have, and possibly a quick trip to a thrift store, a fun and camp-friendly costume can be found.
