We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and, in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought, word and deed.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for all sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that man must only believe (trust in, rely upon, put confidence in) in Him to be justified before God.
We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become children of God, and that their salvation is eternally secure.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
We believe in the personal return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, within the theological framework of pre-millenialism and traditional dispensationalism—rapture, seven year tribulation, second coming of Christ, and His 1000 year reign upon the earth, followed by the eternal state.
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, in his present life there for us, and His High Priestly ministry as Advocate.
We believe God has given every believer at least one spiritual gift for the purpose of building up the body of Christ, the Church. Our view of a spiritual gift is a broad-based ability given by the Holy Spirit to many believers and to be ministered over and over again within the Church in every age. We also believe that Biblical and historical evidence indicates that the sign gifts such as prophecy, healing, and tongues have ceased as broad-based gifts, although individual occurrences could take place according to God’s will.
We believe that a person upon receiving salvation in Christ immediately receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit once and for all, therefore He indwells every believer eternally. This same Spirit fills, leads, guides, teaches, and illumines Christians in their daily walk.
We believe that Scripture clearly says that such acts as homosexuality, adultery, fornication, murder, thievery, lying, witchcraft, Satan and/or demon worship, fellowship with occult, drug abuse, drunkenness, divisive behavior and any other act specified by Scripture as immoral are condemned as improper behavior.
