BELIZE 3 - DAY 6 (SATURDAY)

Today started again with another devo and coffee. #thisteamrunsoncoffee&jesus. After quiet time, we had an amazing breakfast of eggs and french toast. Once we finished breakfast and cleaned up, we got dressed and headed out. We drove through Belize, seeing more of the towns; and then took a 45 minute boat ride to Tobacco Caye Reef. The weather was rainy on the boat, but the ride to the island was so much fun!

On the island resort, we got to swim, paddleboard/kayak, snorkel, and jump into the ocean. We saw some cool fish and a giant sting ray. After swimming and playing, we got lunch at the Reefs End resort. We had beans/rice, chicken, coleslaw, and a plantain. It was incredible and filling. After lunch, there was a storm but we played games inside and enjoyed spending time together as a team. After the sun came back out, we hung out on the dock and hammocks that looked out over the ocean till around 3:30 p.m. We took the boat ride back, and then we did some souvenir shopping at a local shop called The Art Box.

Once we finished there, we headed back to Samuel’s Sanctuary for dinner. We had an amazing dinner of beef tacos. Following dinner, we met up as a team to go through our devotional; finishing the end of Habakkuk 3.

After it finished, we all went to bed to be ready for tomorrow.
